Getting to DOS command line

Firstly to get to DOS command go to the start menu located on the bottom left corner of the desktop, look for "Run" which should be located on the right column of start and once a new window opens type in "cmd" or "command" then press enter a new window should open and it should look something similar to this.

Performing tasks

Type in "Ver" this shows you the current windows version number.
Type in "Copy" this moves one or more files from one location to another.
Type in "HELP" to show you more commands that you can use.
